The Role
You'll manage the pre-construction phase of our projects, working closely with clients, architects, and our construction teams to develop comprehensive project plans and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design and permitting phases with clients, architects, and consultants
- Review architectural plans and provide constructibility and cost feedback
- Develop detailed project estimates and budgets
- Identify and mitigate potential construction challenges early
- Prepare subcontractor bid packages and analyze proposals
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of pre-construction experience in residential construction
- Proficiency in construction estimating
- Proficient in takeoff software; ideally Bluebeam
- Experience with progress design review and value engineering
- Knowledge of the local permitting processes
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
